When we first spoke to Jennifer on the phone, we knew we really wanted to work with these guys. We didn’t even get to meet them until the day of the wedding and it was as great as we imagined! They were wonderful! Tim and Jennifer came to Ponte Winery in Temecula, from Wisconsin, for their wedding. It was a great wedding. Not to mention extra sweet because of the amazing desserts by Truly Madly Sweetly.

Two weeks after the wedding, we received a sweet email from Jennifer (and Tim).

Dear Mae and Michael,
I just wanted to let you know that Tim and I had SUCH a great time with you both and we are over the moon that we chose you guys to do our wedding photography! We could not have picked better photographers! We knew your pictures were beautiful after viewing your sample photography at Ponte and on your website, but one never knows how personalities are going to mesh. Since we do not live in CA, and didn’t get to meet you before the wedding, we didn’t really know what to expect! You BOTH have awesome attitudes and are both a joy to work with! We could not be happier with our choice. You truly made our day more special by being there with us. Everyone commented on how nice you both were. We KNOW that the photos are going to be amazing and can’t wait to see them in August! Thanks again for everything. We hope to use you again when we visit in CA–maybe a more casual photo shoot is in order!

I love when things happen and you know it happened for a reason. So today we had a portrait session with Little J at Huntington Beach Pier. Well, Little J’s mom, Dana, ended up with a flat tire, traffic and just an all around crazy day. So she was quite a bit late. Well, the great thing is … as we were finally photographing Little J, I hear a voice say, “Mae!” and standing there is Greg and Kelly (2007 weddings). These are clients we LOVED working with and we had lost touch for various reasons (mainly postal issues, right guys?! lol). We were so excited to see each other. AND … it’s their three year anniversary today! We photographed their wedding exactly three years ago today! Awesome! So Happy Anniversary Greg and Kelly … and for the many more to come!

As some of you know we love photographing weddings and engagement sessions. There is nothing better than seeing new families form and love flourish between two people. Photographing engagement sessions is definitely one of our fave sessions, especially when you are photographing a fun couple. We had a blast working with them and turned out some great images for them. Aren’t they a cute couple? awwww!

We had a great time photographing the dance team at Los Alamitos High School again this year. What an amazing group of dancers. Their teacher / director, Ms. Rikki Jones, always does an outstanding job with them. The title of the show was “America’s Favorite Dancer.” The show was last weekend. If you were there, who was YOUR favorite? We think they were all great.
