This is Hope. Isn’t she adorable? Kim (Hope’s mom) and three of her good friends, all gave birth within about two months of each other. I have the honor of capturing the first year of all four babies’ lives with my camera! The other three babies are boys and Hope here is the only girl. (Poor boys …… lucky girl …)

That quote is for a couple whose wedding images I’m working on - Patrick and Monika! They are a great example of perserverence through hard work. They had a small wedding with a wee bit o Irish all around. Family from Ireland even made it out. They were married at St. Cornelius Church in Long Beach and then it was off to McKenna’s on the Bay for festivities. Here are more pictures from a couple of album pages. (Pat & Monika)

Remember my previous post about little Christian? (Little Trooper) He’s such an amazing little blessing. He’s only 8 months old now and he’s had to go through two open heart surgeries already! He’s had great care at Children’s Hospital in LA. He’s doing so great and he’s such a happy little boy! He’s one of “my babies” - Those are the babies that I take pictures of throughout their first year - birth, 4 months, 8 months and a year. It’s part of our Baby’s First Year Program. I love pictures of babies at this age. Actually I love them at all ages .. this age is just fun because their personalities are really coming out!

Definitely from the mouth of a parent! Irrational - yes, sometimes you feel that. Beautiful - definitely!! This is Micah and his very tired mommy. Isn’t he is adorable! I love his pensive expression. Makes me wonder what babies are REALLY thinking when they look at us adults. Hmmmm…
